Friday, August 15             Wild West Weekend

4-5pm          Nature Center Open – Visit the Nature Room in the Welcome Center to learn about snakes!

5-8pm          Traveling Program Golf Cart – Watch for the traveling program golf cart with weekend schedules.

8-9pm          Nerf Games – Take aim at several targets set up at the Welcome Center.

Saturday, August 16                                                          

9am-12pm     Panning for Gold – Learn how to pan for gold and the history of gold panning in the Clear Fork Valley. Hang out with a Gold Prospector and Educator on the Welcome Center Deck.

10-11am       Nature Center Open – Visit the Nature Room in the Welcome Center to learn about snakes!

1-4pm          Petting Zoo and Pony Rides – Get up close to live farm animals near the Welcome Center parking lot! All children must be accompanied by an adult. Waivers required.

2-3pm           Fishing Game – Would you like more practice casting and reeling in fish? If yes, gather on the Welcome Center Deck for a fun fishing experience without touching a real fish.

4-5pm          Snake Craft for Kids – We will be making realistic or mythical snake creations in the Welcome Center.  Adult supervision is required.

6-7pm             Leather Bracelet Craft for Adults – Spend some time on the Welcome Center Deck stamping out a custom leather bracelet.

8-9pm Campfire and Karaoke – Head to the fire ring by the Welcome Center for a campfire and karaoke.
