Our Lakes

The Muskingum Watershed Conservancy District serves to control the flow of water into the Muskingum River, protecting the region from flooding and forming recreational areas across the central region of Ohio for the enjoyment of residents and visitors all year round. Ten permanent lakes and four dry dams create natural habitats for native species while providing ample opportunities for exploration, no matter what your preferred outdoor activity.
