Pleasant Hill Pollinator Palooza

Friday, June 27                       

3-4pm       Bug Hunt – Meet on the Welcome Center deck to join the program staff on a bug hunt. What pollinators live at Pleasant Hill Lake Park?

4:30-6pm  Nature Center Open – Stop by the Nature Center to learn about all the good things bugs can do.

6-8pm       Traveling Program Golf Cart – Watch for the traveling program golf cart with weekend schedules and trail maps.

Saturday, June 28            Pollinator Palooza

10:30am    Chat with the Chief – Meet the Chief of Recreation at the Welcome Center to ask questions and learn about what is happening around the lake!

12-1pm     Busy Bees a Pollinator Game for Kids – Deliver pollen to flowers and earn stickers. Plus make a fun bee craft at the Welcome Center deck!

2-3pm        Wiggly-eyed Bug Craft for Kids – Create your very own wiggly-eyed pollinator at the Welcome Center.

4-5am       Nature Center Open – Stop by the Nature Center to learn about pollinators and host plants.

4-5pm       Kickball – Bring your friends for a friendly game of kickball near the Area F playground!

6-7pm       Adult BINGO – Try your luck at the Welcome Center! Bring a $2 prize. For ages 15+ for faster pace.

8-9pm       Campfire & Karaoke – Sing along to one of our karaoke CDs or bring your own music and words. We will be belting out the hits at the campfire ring by the Welcome Center.

Tuesday, June 30

9-11pm     Moonlight Kayak Tour – Enjoy the lake when much quieter. Take a guided kayak tour of Pleasant Hill Lake by moonlight. Registration required www.MWCD.org/tickets
