Seneca Lake

Seneca Lake, located in southeastern Ohio, is the state’s largest inland lake, with 3,550 acres of water, 4,060 acres of land, and a max depth of 31 feet. It is a popular destination for outdoor enthusiasts, offering a wide range of activities such as boating, fishing, swimming, camping, hiking, and wildlife watching. Seneca Lake is surrounded by picturesque landscapes and serene woodlands. The lake is ideal for anglers, with species like bass, crappie, and catfish in abundance.

Pleasant Hill Lake

Pleasant Hill Lake is an 850-acre unlimited horsepower lake surrounded by 1350 acres of land.  Hundreds of thousands of guests come to Pleasant Hill Lake Park every year to enjoy recreational activities such as camping, log cabins, marina, boating, fishing, hiking, hunting, picnicking, swimming, and kayaking.

Piedmont Lake

Piedmont Lake in southeast Ohio offers a peaceful boating experience with a 10 hp motor limit and great fishing. The lake features 2,270 acres of water, 4,416 acres of land, and modern amenities at Piedmont Lake Marina and Campground. Campers, boaters, anglers, and outdoor lovers can enjoy full hook-up campsites, seasonal docking, and various facilities. With a maximum depth of 38 feet and a 38-mile shoreline, it’s a serene retreat for those seeking a hidden gem in Ohio. Leesville Lake

Clendening Lake

Clendening Lake, featuring over 40 miles of undisturbed shoreline, has a 9.9 hp motor limit to ensure peaceful boating and undisturbed fishing. Charles Mill Lake Park

Charles Mill Lake Park is situated on 2,000 acres in Richland and Ashland Counties. Charles Mill Dam is a rolled earth fill dam with an impervious, water resistant, clay core that was constructed in 1935-36 on the Black Fork Creek for the purpose of flood control. The lake has a surface area of 1350 acres, a maximum depth of 24 feet and 34 miles of shore line. The lake has a horsepower limit of 10 and provides opportunities for sailing, boating and fishing. The park features two campgrounds (Main Camp and Eagle Point) with a combined total of more than 400 campsites and three patio cabins.

Atwood Lake Park

Atwood Lake Park is located in Tuscarawas and Carroll Counties. An easy drive from Akron and Cleveland, Atwood Lake Park is a close getaway vacation. Atwood is one of the state’s — and region’s — top lakes for sailing and pleasure boating. Atwood Lake Park features a wide, sandy beach, vending area, changing room with showers, playground, picnic area and picnic shelters.
