Program Schedule for May 19-20 at Atwood Lake Park

Friday, May 19

5-8pm             Traveling Naturalist & Kids Craft – Watch for our program staff traveling through the camp area with a craft kit to make a colorful butterfly!

8:30-10pm        Night Hike – Discover the sounds of the night on a guided night hike along the Woodland Trail! Meet at the Welcome Center parking lot. Be prepared for a 2-mile walk with sneakers or hiking boots.

Saturday, May 20

All Day            Spring Camper Yard Sale – To set up a yard sale on your camp lot, register at the Welcome Center or call 330-343-6780 by May 19. Participating lot numbers will be available to pick up at the Welcome Center and posted on Facebook.

9:30-11am       Coffee with the Chief – Stop by the Welcome Center to meet our new Chief Ranger and enjoy coffee and donuts, while supplies last.

12-1pm           All About Deer! – Discover more about the deer we have in our park with a fun activity, craft, and snack! Ages 3-7 with an adult at the Activity Center Shelter.

2-3pm             Suncatcher Craft for All Ages – Create your own suncatcher at the Activity Center Shelter! While supplies last.

4-5pm             Messy Play – Get messy and leave the cleanup to us! Join us at the Activity Center Shelter. For ages 4 and up. Dress for a mess.

6-7:30pm        Camper Get-together – Meet at the small amphitheater to enjoy a campfire and meet new campers, plus enjoy a campfire cobbler. Bring snacks to share.
