Job Evaluation Compensation
The MWCD has position descriptions on file for all Full-Time and Part-Time positions. There is a job evaluation system in place which is utilized to analyze and measure each position in terms of minimum requirements to determine the degree of knowledge/education, experience, supervisory responsibility, organizational scope, decision making, problem solving, interpersonal relations, written communications, technical operations, physical risk/effort, confidential data and consequences of operational error in relation to other positions within our organization. The job evaluation system results in positions being assigned to specific pay ranges. Wage studies are conducted on a regular basis to ensure that pay ranges are competitive with similar positions outside of the organization.
