Pleasant Hill Father’s Day Weekend

Tuesday, June 10

9-11pm     Moonlight Kayak Tour – Enjoy a guided tour of Pleasant Hill Lake under the stars! For ages 12 and up. Bring your own kayak, canoe, or SUP or rent one of our kayaks. Space is limited. Registration required www.MWCD.org/tickets

Friday, June 13

3:30-5pm  Nature Center Open – Visit the Nature Center to learn a little more about nature dads in the wild.

5-7pm       Traveling Program Golf Cart – Watch for the traveling program golf cart with weekend schedules and trail maps.

8-9pm       Karaoke & Cards – Bring snacks and a deck of cards to the Welcome Center for a little fun and games.  The karaoke machine will also be set up for those who want to serenade the card players.

Saturday, June 14            Father’s Day Weekend

9-10am     Father’s Day Pancake Breakfast – Enjoy pancakes and more at the Welcome Center with the special guy in your life! The suggested donation is $5 per person. While supplies last.

11am-1pm Petting Zoo – Head to the Beach Hill Activity Area to hang out with a camel, mini highland cow, alpacas, and micro donkey from Traveling Acres Petting Zoo.

2-3pm       Nature Center Open – Visit the Nature Center to learn about the animals at Pleasant Hill Lake!

4-5pm       Golf Cart Poker Run – Meet at the Welcome Center to compete for the best and worst hand at our golf cart poker run. Read the map and find hidden poker chips throughout the park. $5 per hand; cash only. Prizes for the best and worst poker hands.

6-7pm       Father’s Day Card Craft for Kids – Stop by the Welcome Center to create and personalize a card for Father’s Day. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

9-11pm         Movie at the Lake: The Jungle Book (2016) – Bring your blanket or camp chair to the beach to watch a movie on the BIG screen! The movie is rated PG and will start at dusk.
