Tappan Program Schedule

Tuesday, August 12
10-11am Discovery Club – This weekly program for ages 5-10 will explore the Nature Center and then get outside to discover nature! This week learn about fish. Parents are encouraged to attend.
1-2pm Teen Club: Family Campfire – Celebrate the summer with your family at the Nature Center patio.
Thursday, August 14
6-7pm Trail Trekkers – Take a guided hike along the Beal Connector Trail with our weekly group! Meet at the playground in Area 5. Be prepared for natural surfaces with sneakers or hiking shoes.
8-9pm Shutterbugs – All ages and camera types are welcome to this weekly photography time! Meet at the Nature Center to learn about night photography and then try it! Meets weekly with a new topic.
Friday, August 15
5-7pm Traveling Golf Cart – Watch for our staff traveling through the camp areas with program information!
8-10pm Movie & Ice Cream – Bring chairs or to relax and watch Mufasa at the Activity Center!
Saturday, August 16
9am-4pm Camper Yard Sale – Register your campsite at the office or registration and setup a sale on your campsite! A list of participating campsites will be posted on FB on Saturday morning.
9am-12pm Traveling Honeybees – Watch for our staff traveling through the camp areas with Bosler’s and their observation beehive!
1:30-3pm Golf Cart Scavenger Hunt – Follow a map and search the campground for hidden stops to search for hidden object. Register at the Activity Center. $5 per person. Instructions and map will be passed out at the time of registration.
