Wednesday, July 16
2-3pm Storybook Trail Time (Parkside) – Meet at the beach parking lot to walk the new Storybook Trail and meet new friends! Plus grab a book from the Little Free Library to take back to your camper to read!
4-5pm Bee Craft for Kids (Parkside) – Make a bee craft and learn about pollinators at the beach patio.
6-7pm Basketball Challenge (Parkside) – Meet at the basketball court and play knock-out and other challenges!
Thursday, July 17
10am-2pm Creative Craft Camp (Parkside) – Get messy and let your creative side shine with a variety of art projects! For ages 8-14 to enjoy the outdoors, learn something new, and make new friends! Space is limited, reservations required at www.MWCD.org/tickets.
Friday, July 18
9:30-11am Coffee & Donuts (Parkside) – Enjoy free coffee and donuts at the beach patio.
6-7:30pm Traveling Nature Program (Marina Point & Parkside) – Look for our traveling program staff stopping at campsites with event information and nature items!
8-9pm Adult BINGO (Marina Point) – Try your luck at Marina Point Shelter #2! Bring a $2 prize. Ages 16+.
Saturday, July 19 Bark in the Park
2-4pm Bark in the Park (Parkside) – Enjoy a fun filled doggy day at the park! Make a doggie toy and enjoy pup cups! Bring your furry friend to the beach. Dogs must be friendly and on a leash.
4-5pm Dogs Can Paint! (Marina Point) – Create a masterpiece with your pet at Marina Point Shelter #2!
5:30pm Doggie Costume Contest (Marina Point) – Bring your furry friend to the basketball court in their best outfit for prizes! Dogs must be friendly to people and other dogs, on a leash, and cleaned up after.
5:30-7pm Pack Hike (Parkside) – Take a guided hike with your dog to explore the Lakeside Trail! Meet at the beach parking lot. Dogs must be friendly to people and other dogs, on a leash, and cleaned up after.
6-9pm LIVE Music: Tequila Mary (Marina Point) – Enjoy this fun and eclectic band at Marina Point Shelter #2!
7-8pm Hot Dog Swim (Parkside) – Bring your dog to the beach to cool off in the water! Dogs must be friendly to people and other dogs, on a leash, and cleaned up after.
8:30-10pm Family Glow Splash (Parkside) – Enjoy the splash pad’s special light features and cool off! This family-friendly event is designed for younger kids and is slower paced with no rambunctious play. Kids 8 and under must have adult supervisor with paid ticket. Space is limited and registration required at www.MWCD.org/tickets.
