Atwood Independence Day Schedule

Thursday, July 3
4-7pm Traveling Golf Cart – Watch for our staff traveling through the camp areas with program information!
7-9pm Nature Center Open & Craft for Kids – Explore the Nature Center and learn about bees, plus make a bee craft to take home!
8-9pm BINGO – Bring a small $2 prize to the Event Center Shelter and try your luck!
9:30pm Glowsticks and Fireflies – Experience bioluminescence at the Event Center patio. We will be handing out glowsticks (while supplies last) and attempting to catch and release fireflies!
Friday, July 4 Happy Independence Day!
11am-12pm Wand Craft for Kids – Meet at the Nature Center and dress for paint!
1-2am Flag Craft for Adults – Make a patriotic decoration at the Nature Center. For ages 16+.
3-4pm Kickball Challenge – Meet in the field near the Event Center to play a friendly game of kickball!
3:30-4:30pm T-shirt Tie Dye – Make a colorful and unique creation in the grass near Event Center! T-shirts will be available for purchase, cash only. T-shirts are $10 each, first come first served. Meet at the Event Center Shelter.
7pm Yard Game Mania – Learn a new game or challenge someone to a showdown! Meet at the grassy are near the Activity Center.
7-10pm LIVE Music: Tuscarawas River Band – Bring your blankets and camp chairs to the grassy area beside the Even Center!
Saturday, July 5
10am-12pm Nature Center Open & Craft for Kids – Discover what is new in the Nature Center, plus learn about bird beaks and their special adaptations!
1-1:30pm Bike and Golf Cart Decorating – Stop by the patio behind the Event Center to decorate your golf cart or bike in a patriotic Memorial Day tribute before the parade.
1:30pm Bike & Golf Cart Parade – Feature your bike or golf cart that has been decorated for the holiday in the parade. Line up in the Event Center parking lot and take a trip around the campground. The parade will go through camp areas A-H.
2-3pm Sand Volleyball – Bring your friends to the sand volleyball court near the Event Center for friendly competition!
3-5pm Bubble Fun at the Beach – Cool off with water game at the beach. Bring your friends!
7-10pm DJ Donna – Listen to music at the beach while you relax before the fireworks.
Dusk FIREWORKS Over the Lake – Watch the fireworks display over the lake from land or water!
Sunday, July 6
9-10am Non-denominational Church Service – Meet at the small amphitheater, weather permitting.
