Clendening Quarry Trail Ribbon Cutting

Join us for the opening of the Quarry Trail at Clendening Lake Dam!
MWCD proudly partnered with the Student Conservation Association to build this scenic new trail.
The Quarry Trail is a 1.3-mile intermediate natural-surface loop that winds through the historic Halderman Stone Quarry, which was decommissioned in 1906.
After the ceremony, join us for a guided hike to learn more about the trail and its history.
Come celebrate this new addition to Clendening Lake and explore a piece of local history!
