Friday, August 29 LABOR DAY WEEKEND
9:30-10:30am Coffee & Donuts (Parkside) – Enjoy free coffee and donuts at Parkside Shelter #2.
5-7pm Traveling Program (Marina Point & Parkside) – Look for traveling program staff with event information.
8-9pm Karaoke (Parkside) – Join fellow campers for a fun time singing your favorites at Parkside Shelter #2.
Saturday, August 30
1-2pm Playground Games (Marina Point) – Meet at the basketball court to play four square/2 square, hopscotch, jacks and other playground games.
3-4pm Patriotic Craft for Adults (Marina Point) – Create a flag decorating at Marina Point Shelter #2.
6-9pm Cornhole & Yard Games (Parkside) – Park staff will have bags available for informal pick-up matches. Bring a partner or meet some new friends at the beach.
7-10pm LIVE Music: Badstone (Parkside) – Bring chairs or blankets to enjoy classic rock covers at the beach!
Sunday, August 31
12-1pm Nature Center Open & Craft for Kids (Parkside) – Explore the Log Cabin Nature Center and make a Patriotic Wind Spinner.
1-2pm Patriotic Craft for Adults (Parkside) – Create a flag decoration at the Log Cabin Nature Center.
3-4pm T-shirt Tie Dye (Parkside) – Create your own unique masterpiece near the beach patio. T-shirts will be on sale for $10 each. Cash only, sizes first come-first served.
6-7pm T-shirt Tie Dye (Marina Point) – Tie dye a t-shirt at Marina Point Shelter #2! T-shirts will be on sale for $10 each. Cash only, sizes first come-first served.
8:30-10pm Family Glow Splash – Enjoy the splash pad’s special light features and cool off! This family-friendly event is designed for younger kids and is slower paced with no rambunctious play. Kids 8 and under must have adult supervisor with paid ticket. Space is limited and registration required at www.MWCD.org/tickets.
