Atwood Memorial Day Weekend

Friday, May 23
4-7pm Traveling Golf Cart – Look for our traveling program staff on a golf cart stopping at campsites with information about weekend programs.
8-9pm Karaoke – Sing your favorite song with your friends and family! Due to weather – this has been moved to inside the Event Center (beside the camp store). Karaoke machine is provided, use your phone to connect. For all ages!
Saturday, May 24
2:30-3pm Bike and Golf Cart Decorating – Stop by the Activity Center Shelter to decorate your golf cart or bike in a patriotic Memorial Day tribute before the parade.
3-4pm Bike & Golf Cart Parade – Feature your bike or golf cart that has been decorated for the holiday in the parade. Line up in the upper parking lot across from the Activity Center and take a trip around the campground. The parade will go through camp areas A-H.
5-6pm T-shirt Tie Dye – Make a colorful and unique creation in the grass near Activity Center Shelter! T-shirts will be available for purchase. Cash only, $10 each. Sizes are first come, first served. *New 2025 t-shirt design*
9-11pm NEW LOCATION Movie at the Lake – Bring your blanket or camp chairs to the EVENT CENTER to watch a movie on the BIG screen! The movie is rated PG and will start at dusk. You can also watch from your golf cart or car.
Sunday, May 25
9-10am Non-denominational Church Service – Meet at the small amphitheater, weather permitting.
10-11am Nature Center Open & Bird Beak Buffet – Explore the Nature Center and learn how birds use their specially adapted beaks for eating!
12-1pm Kickball – Bring your friends to the grassy area near the sports courts and challenge others to friendly competition! Need a team? Hop in with someone else and create a team.
2-3pm Wind Catcher Craft for Kids – Make a red, white, and blue craft at the Nature Center.
4-5pm Patriotic Craft for Adults – Create a red, white, and blue decoration to display at your camper or take it home! Meet at the Nature Center. For ages 16 and up.
7-10pm LIVE Music: 77 South – Bring your blankets and camp chairs to the grassy area beside the Activity Center Shelter to enjoy this modern country band with a classic rock twist!
