Work with your family and friends to find all the items to win a prize. \n5-6pm                 Suncatcher Craft for Adults – We will be making a mandala window cling in the Welcome Center. \n7-8pm                 Plant BINGO for Adults – Try your luck at the Welcome Center! Bring a small plant or propagation to be used as a prize. For ages 15+\, as the game will be played at a faster pace.

DESCRIPTION:Friday\, June 12 \n3:30-5pm         Nature Center Open – Visit the Nature Center to learn a little more about Ohio’s wildlife. \n5-7pm              Traveling Program Golf Cart – Watch for the traveling program golf cart with weekend schedules. \n8-9pm              Karaoke & Cards – Bring snacks and a deck of cards to the Welcome Center for a little fun and games.  The karaoke machine will also be set up for those who want to serenade the card players. \n  \nSaturday\, June 13                    American 250: Wings of Freedom \n9-10am            Breakfast with the Birds – Enjoy donuts at the bird viewing window. Program staff will be available to assist with identification and bird questions. \n11am-1pm        Osprey Wagon Tour – Take a wagon ride for a sightseeing tour of the park\, searching the skies for our local osprey. Registration required www.MWCD.org/tickets. \n2-3pm                 Birdie Kite Craft for Kids – Bring your adult assistant to the Welcome Center to create a simple bird kite that can really fly.    \n3:30-4:15pm     Ohio Bird Sanctuary – Visit the Nature Center to see and learn about live birds! Children must be accompanied by an adult.        \n5-6pm              Felt Bird Craft for Adults – Create a bookmark that shows off your favorite bird. Supplies and instructions are in the Welcome Center. \n7-8pm              Eat Like a Bird – Create a bird beak and try to eat snack food like a bird at the Welcome Center.

Discuss Remarkably Bright Creatures by Shelby Van Pelt\, make a bookmark\, and enjoy a campfire snack. All are welcome — whether you’ve finished the book\, just started\, or simply want to enjoy the atmosphere and conversation! \n  \nFriday\, June 19 \n4-5pm       Nature Center Open – Visit the Nature Center to learn a little more about Father’s in Nature. \n6-8pm       Traveling Program Golf Cart – Watch for the traveling golf cart with weekend schedules and trail maps. \n  \nSaturday\, June 20                    Father’s Day Weekend \n9-10am     Father’s Day Pancake Breakfast – Enjoy pancakes and more at the Welcome Center with the special guy in your life! The suggested donation is $5 per person. While supplies last. \n11am-12pm   Fishing Fun (16 and under) – Meet the program staff at the fishing dock off the beach parking lot.  We will provide fishing poles and bait for participants 16 and younger; an adult must accompany every child. \n1-2pm        Father’s Day Craft for Kids – Stop by the Welcome Center to create and personalize a hand towel for Father’s Day. An adult must accompany children. \n3-4pm       Golf Cart Poker Run – Meet at the Welcome Center to compete for the best and worst hand at our golf cart poker run. Read the map and find hidden poker chips throughout the park. $5 per hand; cash only. Prizes for the best and worst poker hands. \n5-7pm       Pedal Patrol Kick-off & Helmet Giveaway – Bring your bike and helmet to the grassy area near the Welcome Center to learn about this new program and complete a bike safety checklist with a Ranger to earn a FREE ICE CREAM treat! Need a bike helmet? No problem! We will have some to giveaway\, while supplies last! \n8-9pm       Nature Center Open – Visit the Nature Center to learn about fathers in nature.
