Cardinal flower\, milkweed\, hyssop\, wild blue indigo\, coneflower\, and more! \n4-5pm      Nature Center Open – Visit the Nature Room in the Welcome Center to learn about raptors. \n5-7pm      Traveling Golf Cart – Look for the program golf cart passing out schedules. \n8-9pm    Popcorn & Board Games – Play games and enjoy free popcorn\, at the Welcome Center! \n  \nSaturday\, July 11          Hot Dog Weekend w/ Hot Dog Eating Contest\n9-11am        Nature Center Open – Visit the Nature Room in the Welcome Center to learn about raptors. \n11:30am     Costume Contest – Put on your best hot dog costume and strut your stuff on the stage at Beach Hill. Prizes for top kid\, adult\, and pet. All canine participants must be friendly to humans and other pets. \n12-1pm       Hot Dog Eating Contest – Be a part of the second annual Pleasant Hill Lake Hot Dog Eating Contest! For ages 18 and up only. First-place prize is a cooler! The contest will take place at the top of Beach Hill. Registration required at www.MWCD.org/tickets by July 10th. \n2-3pm         Pet Pawprint Craft – Make a pawprint ornament with your pet at the Welcome Center deck! \n4-6:30pm   Roast a Hot Dog – Roast your own hot dog at the Welcome Center campfire ring. Children must have adult supervisor. Dogs are invited to enjoy leftovers at 6:15-6:30pm. \n7-8pm         Hot Dog Swim – All dogs should be friendly\, kept on leash\, and cleaned up after.

All are welcome — whether you’ve finished the book\, just started\, or simply want to enjoy the atmosphere and conversation! \n  \nFriday\, June 19 \n4-5pm       Nature Center Open – Visit the Nature Center to learn a little more about Father’s in Nature. \n6-8pm       Traveling Program Golf Cart – Watch for the traveling golf cart with weekend schedules and trail maps. \n  \nSaturday\, June 20                    Father’s Day Weekend \n9-10am     Father’s Day Pancake Breakfast – Enjoy pancakes and more at the Welcome Center with the special guy in your life! The suggested donation is $5 per person. While supplies last. \n11am-12pm   Fishing Fun (16 and under) – Meet the program staff at the fishing dock off the beach parking lot.  We will provide fishing poles and bait for participants 16 and younger; an adult must accompany every child. \n1-2pm        Father’s Day Craft for Kids – Stop by the Welcome Center to create and personalize a hand towel for Father’s Day. An adult must accompany children. \n3-4pm       Golf Cart Poker Run – Meet at the Welcome Center to compete for the best and worst hand at our golf cart poker run. Read the map and find hidden poker chips throughout the park. $5 per hand; cash only. DESCRIPTION:All newer boaters must pass an Ohio Boating Education Course (OBEC) before getting behind the wheel. Boat operators born on or after January 1\, 1982\, must complete a boating course or pass a proficiency exam. Classroom boating courses offer hands-on instruction with audio and visual materials and give boaters a chance to ask questions directly to an instructor. Topics include knowing your boat\, operating safely\, legal requirements\, and boating emergencies. All skill levels are welcome. \n1:30 PM             Intro to Bird Identification – Meet in the Welcome Center to learn about Ohio’s common bird species and how to identify them. \n2 PM                   Bird Count Walk – Dress for the weather and take a short walk around the Welcome Center to spot\, identify\, and record sightings with a group. \n2:45 PM             Hot Chocolate and Cookies – Enjoy snacks while watching the birdfeeder station\, helping to identify and record what you see! Meet at the Welcome Center. \n3 PM                   Birdhouse Craft – Make a fun birdhouse craft at the Welcome Center. One per family while supplies last.

DESCRIPTION:Friday\, October 10              \n5-7pm        Traveling Program Golf Cart – Watch for the traveling program golf cart with a close-up look at a bat skeleton & weekend schedule! \n7:30-9pm    Haunted Trail for Golf Carts – Drive your golf cart through the Haunted Trail route to see Halloween decorations! Registration is required at www.MWCD.org/tickets. All golf carts must follow driving and golf cart regulations. \n9pm           Campsite Decorating JUDGING – Judges will be viewing decorated campsites. No sign-up needed. Winners will be announced on our Facebook page. \n  \nSaturday\, October 11  \n11am-12pm Outback Ray – Join in on this interactive animal show at the Welcome Center. There will be plenty of curious animals to pique your interest. An adult must accompany all children. \n1-2pm        Bugman – Learn what is more dangerous\, a black widow or a mosquito the Welcome Center. An adult must accompany all children. \n2:30pm       Costume Contest – Dress in your favorite costume and meet at the basketball court near Camp Area G. Prizes will be given to top costume in each division! Divisions include ages 0-6\, ages 7-11\, ages 12-17\, adults 18+\, and pets. \n3-4pm        Trick-or-Treat – Dress in your favorite Halloween costume and visit participating campsites offering Halloween treats. For kids of all ages! All campsites are encouraged to participate. \n4-5:30pm    Tie Dye T-shirts & Pumpkin Patch – Make your own tie dye masterpiece! NEW Halloween T-shirt designs will be available for $10 each\, cash only. Shirts are size youth small to adult 3XL and are first-come\, first-served. Meet at the Picnic Shelter #2. Plus\, pick out your own pumpkin to paint for $5 each! \n5:30-6:30pm Halloween BINGO for Adults – Try your luck and win prizes! Bring a Halloween-themed $2 prize and meet at the Welcome Center! This program will be run at a faster pace for adults. \n7-9:30pm    Haunted Hayrides – Take a hayride through the park to see Halloween decorations! Space is limited; registration is required at www.MWCD.org/tickets. All children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

DESCRIPTION:Dress in your royal finest and enjoy an enchanted day at the park! Each princess will participate in a craft\, royal tea party and snack\, face painting\, and horse drawn carriage ride through the park. Make your princess dreams come true at the lake! \n$25 per child. Limited tickets available to ensure a magical experience for all! \nFor ages 3 and up.  Parents must accompany the princesses throughout the event.
