DESCRIPTION:Sunday\, December 21 \nCelebrate the Winter Solstice and the beginning of more sunlight at Atwood Lake Park! Take a self-guided hike along the Woodland Trail and bridge by the light of many luminaries and candles. Then head to the Activity Center for hot chocolate and s’mores! Plus\, create a fun Christmas craft. The luminaries will be lit and refreshments will be available between 6 and 8pm. Parking is available at the Activity Center and the hike will be up to 2 miles long. Since it is self-guided\, you can make it your own and go farther or turn around sooner\, if needed!

Dogs must be friendly to people and other dogs\, on a leash\, and cleaned up after. \n  \nSaturday\, July 12                \n10-11am       Yoga at the Beach – Join BeYoga Studios for a relaxing yoga session on the beach! All experience levels are welcome. Please bring your own yoga mat or beach towel. Suggested donation of $5-10 per person. Admission into the lake is free when you mention the yoga event at the gate. \n10am-12pm   Nature Center Open & Craft for Kids – Discover what is new in the Nature Center\, plus learn about bugs and make a bug hotel! \n1-2pm          Wiffle Ball – Bring your friends to the field near the Basketball Courts to play a friendly game of wiffle ball! \n3-4pm          Wreath Craft for Adults – Meet inside the Nature Center to make a relaxing and rejuvenating body scrub to keep or give as a gift! \n  \nSunday\, July 13 \n9-10am         Non-denominational Church Service – Meet at the small amphitheater\, weather permitting.
