2016 Township Road 451 Stream Bank Stabilization

Problem Description

Washington Township in Holmes County is requesting financial assistance to stabilize a severely eroded bank on the Mohican Rover to protect a township road.  The applicant is requesting funding for the design and engineering of this stabilization.

Solution Description

The project will include the design and engineering of solution to stabilize the river bank.  The stabilized bank will protect the township road and improve public health and safety.  By reducing erosion and sedimentation, this project will positively affect the water quality of the Mohican River.

Total amount requested from MWCD PWM Program $32,000.00

Amount Granted $32,000.00
