MWCD Hosts 'Legislative Day' at Tappan Marina

The MWCD recently held a Legislative Day at the newly constructed Tappan Lake Marina and Tappan Lake Park, hosting elected officials, legislative staff, economic development representatives, and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE). The day-long event included updates and briefings on the activities and important work happening within the watershed in addition to tours of some of the recent accomplishments at Tappan Lake.

Beginning Monday, June 21, 2021 through July 2 (barring no delays), SR 800 will close to traffic from SR 212 west to SR 212 east. During the closure period, there will be NO access to or from SR 800 at either intersection.

Tappan Marina and Restaurant Slated to Open Early Summer 2021

Construction is nearly complete on the $4.4 million Tappan Marina building renovation project which began in 2020. Travelers on State Route 250 have had a front row view to the construction progress, which features the development of a new 250-seat restaurant.
