Atwood Area Fall Festival is October 5-7, 2018
September 24, 2018
Fall has officially arrived in Ohio, and it wouldn't be fall without the Atwood Area Fall Festival.
This year marks the 36th annual festival at Atwood Lake Park which draws visitors and vendors from around the region. The park becomes transformed with vendor tents, displays and scents of campfires and homemade food.
What makes this festival unique is that each vendor must be the creator of their craft, and many of the food vendors are local church groups or non-profit organizations from the area who utilize this event as one of their largest fundraisers for the year. One of a kind treasures range from woodworking and lawn ornaments to hats and scarves.
A wide variety of entertainment is provided throughout the weekend that includes music by local high school bands, dancing groups and cover bands. Juggling acts, magic shows, ventriloquist and hypnotist acts round out the entertainment to fulfill the promise of "Something for Everyone"! Once dark falls, another seasonal favorite is the haunted hayride which is available Friday and Saturday evening. For a list of all scheduled entertainment, click here.
Visit the Mountain Men encampment, Ohio Wagon Train reenactment and petting zoo throughout the weekend, or come Sunday for the classic car show.
Festival hours are Friday and Saturday 10am-9pm and Sunday 10am-5pm. The cost is $5.00 per person and children under 12 are free. Senior day is Friday, October 5 where anyone over the age of 55 is $2.00. All of the information about the festival, including a festival map, can be found by visiting www.AtwoodFallFest.org.
As the weather cools and the colors change, bring your family and friends to Atwood Lake Park to discover the beauty, quality, and fun of the Atwood Area Fall Festival where there truly is “Something for Everyone”.
