Boaters are invited to bring their boat to the MWCD lakes for Vessel Safety Checks on Saturday, May 15 and Sunday, May 16. MWCD Rangers will be on site to check the boat for compliance with ODNR boating regulations.

Construction is nearly complete on the $4.4 million Tappan Marina building renovation project which began in 2020. Travelers on State Route 250 have had a front row view to the construction progress, which features the development of a new 250-seat restaurant.
