Project Description:

  • A92042 Atwood Village:  Soil Encapsulated Lift project located along SR542 near Cottage Site A-109 just south of the former Atwood Resort property.  The soil lifts were constructed above a base of Type C rock riprap which was vegetated with live stakes. A native slope stabilization custom seed mix was used on the lifts and a native riparian buffer custom seed mix was utilized above the soil lift area.  This project also included an area of just Type C rock riprap which was vegetated with live stake plantings.
  • A04003 Atwood Village: Type C rock riprap, vegetated with live stake plantings, in two locations along SR542 in the Atwood Village cottage area.

  • A01001 Pines:  Type D rock riprap project in the bay between Lakewood Rd and the Atwood Yacht Club.
  • A11001 Glens: : Type C rock riprap vegetated with live stakes along McNaughton Lane in the Glens.
  • A11002 Glens: Type C rock riprap along McNaughton Lane in the Glens.
  • A05004 Village: Type C rock riprap placed along the shoreline just north of Camille Road
  • A03009/01007 North Shore: Type C rock riprap in two locations at Atwood North Shore near Bay Drive and Beach #2
  • A04001 Isolated: Type C rock riprap vegetated with live stakes along Locust Street in the Isolated Cottage Area near Lots A104 and A105.  The project also included a couple different native seed mixes.  A Riparian Buffer Custom Seed mix was used along the upper edge of rock riprap, and a Slope Stabilization Custom Seed mix was also used to better stabilize the steep slopes above the riprap.
