Saturday, October 16

2:30-3:30pm      Traveling Naturalist – Keep an eye out for our Naturalist Jamie and his cart as he ventures around the park with interesting finds and things from the world around us.

4-6 pm              Halloween Carnival & Creature Trail – Enjoy Halloween themed fun and games with your family. Take a self-guided hike along the Eagle Trail and learn fun facts about creatures of the night! Stop by anytime between 4 and 6 near the Activity Center.

7 & 8pm             Haunted Lantern Tours - Take a guided tour through the woods and learn about the history of Atwood Lake. Tales may be true or make believe, but are meant to be fun, educational, and a little spooky. Tours will walk along the Woodland Trail by lantern light. This trail is asphalt with moderate grades. All children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult. $5 per person. Pre-registration available online at https://mwcd.ticketleap.com or cash only at the event. Meet at the Welcome Center parking area.

Saturday, October 23

2:30-3:30pm      Traveling Naturalist – Keep an eye out for our Naturalist Jamie and his cart as he ventures around the park with interesting finds and things from the world around us.

4-5:30 pm         Kids Craft – Join us in the Nature Center to create your own hanging pumpkin while supplies last.

6:30-8pm           Campfire Hangout – Join us near the amphitheater for some campfire fun.  Make a s’more, play some yard games, or just hangout!

Saturday, October 30

2:30-3:30pm      Traveling Naturalist – Keep an eye out for our Naturalist Jamie and his cart as he ventures around the park with interesting finds and things from the world around us.

4-6 pm              Kids Craft – Join us at the nature center and create your own nature mobile.  We will use the world around us to create a piece of artwork.

7 & 8pm        Night Hike – Join us on a night hike starting at _______, and learn about the creatures of the night.
