Fireworks, fun highlight Fourth of July holiday at MWCD lake parks
The Fourth of July holiday is always a "blast" at the Muskingum Watershed Conservancy District (MWCD) lake parks.
And this year will be no exception.
Gigantic fireworks displays are planned on Saturday, July 3, at Charles Mill, Seneca and Tappan lake parks. Fireworks at Atwood Lake are scheduled on Sunday, July 4. (Registered campers at Pleasant Hill Lake Park are admitted free to attend the show at nearby Charles Mill Lake Park).
Admission cost for the fireworks at Charles Mill Lake Park is $8 per car all day on Saturday, $7 per car all day Saturday at Tappan Lake Park and $7 per car after 4 p.m. Saturday at Seneca Lake Park. Admission is $5 per car at Atwood Lake Park on Sunday.
But the fireworks shows are not the only attraction over the holiday weekend (July 2-5). Plenty of events for all members of the whole family are planned at each of the five lake parks.
Beach games and events, live music, parades, bingo, crafts and more are planned.
Camping is available at all MWCD campsites and the swimming beaches will be open all weekend long.
For details, be sure to check the calendars of each park on their pages located here: /places/parks.
Enjoy the fireworks and fun with your family during the Fourth of July celebrations this weekend at the MWCD lake parks.
